As an institution within the South Carolina Technical and Comprehensive Education system, Denmark Technical College is committed to keeping the costs of attending the college to a minimum for students. Denmark Technical College believes that no one should be denied a college education because of a lack of funds. Denmark Technical College seeks to obtain financial aid for every student who needs it. 

Students who submit all FAFSA information by April 15 will receive priority in getting financial aid processed by the College.

Aid Estimator and Net Price

The Financial Aid Estimator is a tool for students and parents to use to get an estimate of how much Financial Aid you may be eligible for while attending Denmark Technical College. It is important for you to understand that the information you receive from this tool is a broad estimate. Many factors come into play when we award financial aid to students including, but not limited to deadlines, levels of funding, grade levels, and academics.

    South Carolina Tuition Tax Credit Website

    To help ease the financial burden for South Carolina college students and their families, the South Carolina General Assembly has created an income tax credit for tuition paid to South Carolina colleges and universities. To claim the credit, a Form SC 1040 must be filed. When preparing the South Carolina income tax return, Form I-319 Tuition Tax Credit must be completed. This form is included with all state individual income tax booklets. For more information about the tax credit, please visit the South Carolina Tuition Tax Credit website.

    Key points of eligibility:

    • Must have earned 30 credit hours from January 2022 – December 2022 if enrolled full-time( Fall & Spring) during that TAX year
    • Must have earned 15 credit hours from January 2022 –December 2022 if enrolled half-time (one semester)during that TAX year
