MalikYobaDenmark Technical College proudly welcomes Malik Yoba, author, educator, and actor as the 2008 commencement speaker. He is a familiar face on screen and television and won the NAACP's 1996 Image Award for Outstanding Actor. He was cited by the New York Times Magazine in 1996 as one of the thirty promising artists under the age of thirty. Yoba most recently starred in the Tyler Perry film "Why Did I Get Married?"
