Tropical Storm Debby

UPDATE 8-7 –
 
Denmark Technical College administration has been closely monitoring weather conditions and potential impact from Tropical Storm Debby, in cooperation with Bamberg County government as well as state and national authorities. In an abundance of caution Denmark Technical College, will be closed for business for the first part of the day on August 8, 2024, opening at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow. All on-campus business will return to normal operations beginning at that time. Thank you for helping us to keep Denmark Tech a safe place to learn, work and live. 
 
 
In an abundance of caution as we prepare for the effects of Tropical Store Debby, Denmark Technical College will close for business beginning at 1:00 p.m. on 8/6/24.
 
With the exception of essential personnel, all on-campus business will be suspended beginning at 1:00 p.m. and will resume in a virtual format beginning at 8:30 a.m. on 8/7.  Employees will be on hand remotely throughout the day Wednesday to take calls and respond to emails regarding all facets of college business.
 
In-person student sessions and events will be suspended beginning at 1:00 p.m. on 8/6  and will resume in a virtual format immediately, continuing virtually through Wednesday. 
 
As of now, business and classes will resume as normally scheduled Thursday morning. Registration will continue, as scheduled, on August 8th & 9th. Thank you for helping us to keep Denmark Tech a safe place to learn, work and live.
