SPECIAL EXEMPTION
Persons who are 60 years of age or over and who is a legal residence of South Carolina may attend classes for credit or non-credit purposes on a space-available basis without paying tuition, provided that neither such persons nor their spouses receive compensation as full-time employees from Denmark Technical College. Any person attending classes for credit must meet admission requirements.

ACTIVITY FEE
An activity fee is charged to all student enrolled in six (6) or more credit hours. Students enrolled in less than six (6) credit hours may elect to pay the student activity fee.

DEBTS OWED TO THE COLLEGE
Students will not be permitted to graduate, receive transcripts or re-enroll in any programs until all debts incurred at the College have been paid in full.

VEHICLE REGISTRATION
Each student is required to have a current parking permit properly displayed on any vehicle driven and/or parked on campus. Permits will be valid from September to August each year. (This applies to all full-time, part-time, and Continuing Education students.)

Any student who loses his/her permit or trades automobiles may apply for a new permit. The student shall apply for the new permit in the Public Safety Office. The parking permit is free.

ID CARDS
Student identification cards are issued during registration. New ID cards are issued yearly. There is a $15 fee for lost cards. ID cards are required for transactions in the Learning Resource Center and the Business Office.

STUDENT HEALTH FEE
The Student Health Fee is not health insurance.Ā  The Student Health Fee is required for all boarding students. The cost of the Health Fee is included in the semester fee. This service covers boarding students while on the premises of the College, and college-sponsored trips for minor medical needs. This service is optional to part-time and off-campus students.

Emergency services will be rendered at the Denmark Medical Center during office hours and at the Regional Medical Center after office hours.
