The Certificate in General Studies Program is designed for those students who have not decided what career path to pursue but still have a desire to attend college. The courses in this certificate can be used to improve academic skills for transfer to a four-year college or university. The student along with his/her academic advisor will plan a program of study to meet the requirements of the college to which the student expects to transfer. The courses selected can be applied toward the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science Degrees or can be used as part of the general education requirement for the Associate Degree and Diploma Programs. Student must be a high school graduate.
