Students With Disabilities

Denmark Technical College is fully committed to complying with Section 504 of the 1973 Vocational Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act, ensuring that all program services and campus activities are accessible to all students.

Students seeking disability services must self-disclose and provide current documentation of their disability. This documentation is essential, as it serves as the basis for determining appropriate services and accommodations. In some cases, the College may also review diagnostic information to assess the suitability of academic adjustments for a specific student. Comprehensive assessments that substantiate the need for accommodations and document how the disability has impacted educational achievement are invaluable in ensuring appropriate responses to students’ requests.

Students seeking disability services support are encouraged to contact Ms. Holman-Brooks in the office of Disability Services located in Smith Hall Room 109A.

Additionally, Ms. Holman-Brooks can be contacted directly at 803-793-5287 or via email at holman-brooksl@denmarktech.edu to discuss available accommodations and support services.
