Program Description

This course 144-hour course covers the principles of welding, cutting, and basic procedures for safety in using welding equipment, fundamentals of print reading, basic principles and practices of oxyacetylene welding/ cutting, electric welding, and the shielded metal arc welding process.

Successful students will be able to pass entry-level examinations/certifications (such as AWS) for local industry positions in welding and develop skills leading to advancement in the career field.
