First in state to join the National Organization for Human Services
On November 1, 2007, Denmark Technical College’s Chapter, XI, became the first chapter in the state of South Carolina to be approved as a member of the National Organization for Human Services.
Through this organization, student members are encouraged to form their identities as human service professionals, and in order to be selected for membership of the organization, students must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher. Denmark Technical College students were inducted at the 33rd Annual Southern Organization for Human Services Conference on March 26-29, 2008 at Trident Technical College in Charleston.
