The Fabriele Disability Awareness Scholarship | Award: $,1000

The Fabriele Disability Awareness Scholarship is an opportunity for a deserving student who can effectively write a 500-word statement regarding their own experience or that of a family member that describes how the Americans with Disabilities Act has helped, fallen short, or failed in protecting the rights of Americans with disabilities.

The Tampa Bay Spine Center Road to Recovery Scholarship | Award: $500

The Tampa Bay Spine Center Road to Recovery Scholarship will be awarded to a student who can successfully communicate in an essay a time he/she faced an emotional or physical setback and how this experience has helped them grow as an individual.

The David Benowitz Recognizing Public Servants Scholarship | Award: $500

Mr. Benowitz has a passion for public service and a desire to encourage those who are considering entering this arena; he is honored to present the David Benowitz Recognizing Public Servants Scholarship. This scholarship will award $500 to the student that best express their thoughts with insight and creativity on the importance of public servants and their work.

The Ward Law Group Better Future Scholarship | Award: $500                                         

This scholarship will be awarded to the student who in a personal essay best explains how immigration reform and current immigration conditions in the United States have affected them as well as offer innovative ideas on how these conditions might be improved. This scholarship will award $500 to the winning student.

Judge Bill Higgins Public Service Scholarship | Award: $500

The Higgins Firm celebrates the invaluable work of public servants and is pleased to present the Judge Bill Higgins Public Service Scholarship for students interested in the path of public service. Current students who volunteer with charitable organizations are eligible and can submit a record of their service hours to enter.

The Jason Kalafat Make a Difference Scholarship | Award: $500

Due to Mr. Kalafat’s personal commitment to effecting real change in the world, we are proud to announce the Jason Kalafat Make a Difference Scholarship. This scholarship will award $500 to a deserving student who puts forth a thoughtful, creative, and meaningful response to how their dream will make a necessary and practical change in the world.

Barone Defense Firm Win Back Your Life Scholarship | Award: $500

The Barone Defense Firm Win Back Your Life Scholarship is an opportunity for a deserving student who is able to effectively communicate how they have faced adversity and overcome that obstacle. The Barone Defense Firm is excited to provide this award and help a student be more financially able to achieve their academic goals.

The Shawn Sukumar Criminal Justice Reform Scholarship | Award: $500

Being familiar with the harmful effects of the criminal justice system, Shawn Sukumar is excited to announce his Criminal Justice Reform Scholarship, which will award $500 to a student who presents a well-reasoned and practical solution to a problem they see within the criminal justice system.

Polson & Polson, P.C - Conquering Adversity Scholarship | Award: $500

The attorneys at Polson & Polson are excited to offer a financial award of $500 to a student pursuing higher education who can clearly demonstrate the characteristics of perseverance, determination and unwavering commitment to triumphing over roadblocks on the path to individual success as well as overall civic betterment.

Grungo Colarulo Giving Back to the Community Scholarship | Award: $500 

Our Attorneys at Grungo Colarulo are proud to announce the Grungo Colarulo Giving Back to the Community Scholarship in the amount $500 to celebrate individuals who are committed to service in their community. The scholarship will be awarded to the student whose essay best describes their experienced commitment to community service and how their experience with community service has played and will play a role in their academic career.

Connecticut Domestic Violence 2017 Legislation Reform Scholarship | Award: $500

Christine Gertsch is excited to provide aid through the 2017 Legislation Reform Scholarship, to encourage those who are fighting for the rights of others, who are dedicated to their education and who aspire to provide reform to legislation they believe is unjust. 

Denmark Technical College offers you a college experience that’s based on the latest of technology. Our priorities include small class sizes, commitment to the educational growth of our students, and pride in our outstanding faculty who have actual experience in their fields. Our staff also plays an essential role in assisting our students in achieving their educational goals.
Co-curricular activities are a vital part of the college experience and Denmark Technical College offers a diverse range of programs and services to support student success. Our programs complement the learning that takes place in the classroom and enhance the overall educational experience of our students.
The Academic Support Center provides tutoring and mentoring support to all Denmark Technical College students. Through these services, students will be afforded the opportunity to become independent learners and strengthen their academic weaknesses. The center is located in building 029 and is equipped with a tutorial computer lab for on-line tutoring services. DTC students may apply for tutoring at any point in a semester. All students are required to log in for sessions. Services are free to currently enrolled DTC students.
