The Tampa Bay Spine Center Road to Recovery Scholarship | Award: $500

The Tampa Bay Spine Center Road to Recovery Scholarship will be awarded to a student who can successfully communicate in an essay a time he/she faced an emotional or physical setback and how this experience has helped them grow as an individual.

The Ward Law Group Better Future Scholarship | Award: $500                                         

This scholarship will be awarded to the student who in a personal essay best explains how immigration reform and current immigration conditions in the United States have affected them as well as offer innovative ideas on how these conditions might be improved. This scholarship will award $500 to the winning student.

Judge Bill Higgins Public Service Scholarship | Award: $500

The Higgins Firm celebrates the invaluable work of public servants and is pleased to present the Judge Bill Higgins Public Service Scholarship for students interested in the path of public service. Current students who volunteer with charitable organizations are eligible and can submit a record of their service hours to enter.

Polson & Polson, P.C - Conquering Adversity Scholarship | Award: $500

The attorneys at Polson & Polson are excited to offer a financial award of $500 to a student pursuing higher education who can clearly demonstrate the characteristics of perseverance, determination and unwavering commitment to triumphing over roadblocks on the path to individual success as well as overall civic betterment.

Grungo Colarulo Giving Back to the Community Scholarship | Award: $500 

Our Attorneys at Grungo Colarulo are proud to announce the Grungo Colarulo Giving Back to the Community Scholarship in the amount $500 to celebrate individuals who are committed to service in their community. The scholarship will be awarded to the student whose essay best describes their experienced commitment to community service and how their experience with community service has played and will play a role in their academic career.

Connecticut Domestic Violence 2017 Legislation Reform Scholarship | Award: $500

Christine Gertsch is excited to provide aid through the 2017 Legislation Reform Scholarship, to encourage those who are fighting for the rights of others, who are dedicated to their education and who aspire to provide reform to legislation they believe is unjust. 

Kush Arora Federal Justice Reform Scholarship | Award: $500

We are pleased to announce the 2017 Kush Arora Federal Justice Reform Scholarship. This is our third year offering this scholarship. Mr. Arora understands that the success of the criminal justice system depends on the success of the bright young women and men who are pursuing their academic and professional dreams today.

Kerri Castellini Women's Leadership Scholarship | Award: $500

Ms. Castellini feels that educated women have the power to act as strong leaders both in their field and in the community at large. Thus, she is glad to sponsor the Kerri Castellini Women’s Leadership Scholarship & Essay Contest. The winner will earn a $500 scholarship to go toward her educational pursuits to help her become a strong and accomplished leader in her community.

Karin Riley Porter Good Works Scholarship | Award: $500

Virginia criminal lawyer Karin Riley Porter believes strongly in advancing the cause of the criminal justice system and criminal defense services by ensuring that everyone within the Commonwealth of Virginia receives fair representation and that those who are dedicated to that calling can realize their full academic potential. Karin Riley Porter Attorney at Law remains steadfastly dedicated to this calling and to supporting students equally committed to this cause by providing this annual $500 scholarship.

Seth Okin Good Deeds Scholarship | Award: $500

Mr. Okin is proud to contribute to the national discussion on community service by sponsoring the Seth Okin Good Deeds Scholarship and Essay Contest. The winner of the contest will be awarded a $500 scholarship that will enable him or her to pursue educational goals with the ultimate purpose of creating a meaningful life of service to others.

Denmark Technical College offers you a college experience that’s based on the latest of technology. Our priorities include small class sizes, commitment to the educational growth of our students, and pride in our outstanding faculty who have actual experience in their fields. Our staff also plays an essential role in assisting our students in achieving their educational goals.
Co-curricular activities are a vital part of the college experience and Denmark Technical College offers a diverse range of programs and services to support student success. Our programs complement the learning that takes place in the classroom and enhance the overall educational experience of our students.
The Academic Support Center provides tutoring and mentoring support to all Denmark Technical College students. Through these services, students will be afforded the opportunity to become independent learners and strengthen their academic weaknesses. The center is located in building 029 and is equipped with a tutorial computer lab for on-line tutoring services. DTC students may apply for tutoring at any point in a semester. All students are required to log in for sessions. Services are free to currently enrolled DTC students.
