FACULTY RESERVES GUIDELINES
Faculty can have library staff to temporarily place items of various formats (books, DVDs, journals, etc.) on reserve in the Library. This service allows faculty a way to share limited resources with students in a specific course.
These resources may be original library or personally-owned resources. All reserve materials must contain a notice of copyright and comply with federal copyright laws and restrictions.
Reserve items are shelves behind the service desk by the reserving instructor’s name. The reserving instructor will help decide an item’s circulation period and whether the resource may be used outside of the library.
To request an item for the reserve collection, please visit the library to complete a form (one form per item) or contact a member of the library to have a form emailed to you.
Once the form(s) is/are completed and the item(s) received, the items have to be processed before placing on the reserve shelves. Please allow at least one day for items to be processed and be ready for in-house use.
