“We are deeply saddened to report the passing of Mr. Jordan Parson, a freshman Associate in Science major from Homestead, Florida. Mr. Parson was fatally wounded this morning near downtown Denmark, SC. His alleged assailant is still unknown. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and the Denmark Police Department.
The Denmark Technical College family and local clergy are available to assist students, faculty, and staff.
