DTC Choir Performs for SC Technical College's Joint Board Summit

The Denmark Technical College Choir served as the main headliner at the 2015 SC Technical College Joint Board Summit with keynote speaker Nikki Haley, Governor of South Carolina. The choir was invited by Dr. James Williamson, President of the Technical College System. The Technical College System’s board and administration, presidents from the sixteen Technical Colleges, and representatives from their respective boards/commissions were entertained by the choir.
President McIntyre was elated by yet another dazzling performance by the DTC choir. “As the president of DTC, I am immensely proud of our wonderful choir and the superb selections they performed today. These student ambassadors showcase just some of the many talents and capabilities that our students possess.”
The choir performed several selections from various genres including: Cantate Domino, Battle Hymn of the Republic, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, I Dreamed a Dream and The Battle of Jericho. The performance was met with enthusiastic acclaim.
